We love to have visitors on our farm! We do not charge for tours - we just ask for a donation to help pay for the cost of animal feed (it costs us about $50 a day to feed the animals on our farm). We have lots of animals to pet (sheep, dogs, goats, Scottish Highland Cattle, and even some turkeys and chickens)! Tours are walking (so bring comfortable shoes) and you will get to see a real working farm. Tours are led by one of the owners and can be scheduled for Saturday's and on Monday's and Friday's (with advance notice). We also offer 'farm weekend' events. Just use our online booking tool to book your event (just point your mouse at the "Farm Tours" tab at the top of this page and the "booking" tab will appear.

Our farm is also available for events, parties, and photo sessions (the Highland cattle are extremely photogenic!). Depending on the scope and scale of the event charges will vary, but we try to keep things very reasonable. We do allow primitive camping on the back 20 acres of the farm. Call or email us to book your event. We have even had a rap video filmed on our farm - check it out !

Dan - Harvest Host
Our time at Mesta Meadows was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Ed and his wife warmly welcomed us, embodying the true spirit of Harvest Hosts. They were so enthusiastic about hosting guests and encouraged us to tour the farm, interact with the animals, and enjoy the company of their beautiful dogs. We received wonderful insights about the history of the animals and their contributions to the farm from Jack, an eager intern who is excitedly learning the ropes. It was clear how passionate he is about farming, and we were so impressed by his dedication and dreams of starting his own farm one day. One of the highlights of our visit was feeding the animals—such a unique and memorable experience! The spot where we parked fit our rig perfectly and was just a short walk from the petting zoo, which made everything incredibly convenient. Parking was a breeze with easy access right off the road. So far, Mesta Meadows has been our favorite Harvest Host stop. I’m already looking forward to visiting again—I ran out of the jellies, syrups and cheese which were absolutely delicious! The Apple Cinnamon syrup and jelly, theStrawberry-Banana jelly, Cowboy Candy salsa, and the goat milk were all incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the goat milk tasted—it’s truly a must-try!

We had an incredible time at Mesta Meadows! Ed and Jack were fantastic hosts, making us feel welcome from the start. Touring the farm and helping feed the animals was such a unique experience. The farm store offers a wide variety of items, and we especially loved sampling the sheep milk and cheese. We’re excited to try the meat we purchased as well. The entire place is stunningly beautiful, and we’re so glad we decided to stop by!
