This is a very easy recipe for chops. The key is to marinate the chops for at least two hours, and to not overcook the chops. Use a meat thermometer to measure the temp, because lamb is typically lean, if you cook to 'color' you may over cook it.
Ingredients
- (4 chops) Lamb Chops
- (1 teaspoon) Garlic salt (or crushed garlic cloves
- (Salt to taste, at least 1 teaspoon) Salt
- (1 teaspon of pepper) Pepper
- (1 bag) Gallon Zip Lock Bag
- (6 table spoons) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Add the garlic salt, salt, pepper, and and extra virgin olive oil into the ziplock bag. Close the bag and shake it well to mix the ingredients.
- Put the lamb chops into the bag and shake well to thoroughly coat the chops.
- Put the bag into the fridge for at least two hours to thoroughly soak the chops.
- Bring the grill up to 400 degrees.
- Cook the chops for 4 to 5 minutes per side. When the cops reach 145 take them off the grill.
- Let the chops rest for 5 minutes.
- Enjoy the chops!
